Trade-in event disabled

There was a glitch with the new trade-in feature that dropped today: players could trade-in their rental ships. Was working a few hours ago when the patch released, but has been disabled as of a few minutes ago.

CVs, subs, countless glitches of varying severity, AA changes 'in the works', and so many other things with this game that haven't been addressed in months/years/ever. But then a feature that accidentally favors the players?? WG jumps on it instantly.

Can't have the playerbase getting unintended benefits!

It really was. The trade-in feature was available on PTS, but players had no incentive to actually use it.

I can only see it as an attempt to get rid of population of rare / valuable (read: problematic) premiums in exchange for ones that are less so. I will not be making use of it.

But on a more sober note, when stuff like diz happens "feature disabled, function stopped, etc" Where to put that kind of information on this forum?

Just the general news section, or should there be a kind of dedicated "current stuff happening / know issue"-section/tread as to not just toss it all in one pile?
