Let’s go over some of the main new features of the coming update.

Asymmetric Battles

Update 12.10 will bring back Asymmetric Battles to the game! The latest iteration of this popular Battle Type will have a different format compared to the previous one, as battles will be fought in a 5v12 format with Tier VI to X ships and superships. The bot team will not be able to field Submarines. Ships on the player team can differ by one Tier, while ships on the bot team will be up to two Tiers lower than the ships on the player team. For example: If a player team is composed of Tier VI and VII ships, the bots in the enemy team will be Tier IV and V ships.

And it’s just in time for everyone’s grinding needs ahead of the NY snowflake event. Hopefully the rewards aren’t significantly nerfed from the prior iteration.

I wonder if they tweaked the rewards at all. It was very good in terms of XP and FXP earned.

Twas a coop that required some skill to play...gave plenty of hp for everyone to farm...and all classes could play without being useless (try playing CV in coop now, ugh, cant get enough time to do much meaningful damage).

As always, WG will try to screw us somewhere with this...as if they don't, randoms will be a ghost town.

Maybe they should take a hint and expand the PVE modes? I would love to see regular coop become something more along the lines of asymmetric battles for instance.

One new aspect is that the bots will be targeting high HP ships meaning that it is no longer a death trap for cruiser players.👍

I'm hoping they don't further nerf the rewards after the first nerf they did a few days in to the first asym battles. It would be nice to get decent XP on ships without using blue boosters because I want to finish grinding a few DD lines and do a reset or 2. Being a Coop/Operations only player, the grinds tend to be longer, especially at higher tier. Last go round of asym battles, I ground up to the Schleiffen in ops and asym in a few days.
