On November 9, 1989, the Berlin Wall—a symbol of the Iron Curtain that divided Europe throughout the Cold War, began to be demolished by German citizens. Less than a year later, on October 3, 1990, West and East Germany were formally reunified into one state. It's on this date that Germany celebrates its national holiday.

This year, we’re celebrating the event in World of Warships with a dedicated global combat mission: all players on each server will band together to complete successive stages and ultimately demolish the “wall” to earn the German Unity Day patch symbol, plus a host of rewards along the way. You can also complete an individual combat mission chain playing German ships to earn two German Supply containers and more.
