As long as the discussion is civil I don't mind people having a different opinion than me, I'm a big boy I can handle other views.

It's when the discussion turns towards "I'm right because company says so" which turns any discussion pointless. That, and name calling by using terms like "toxic, circlejerk, etc."

I was COO of "Go Ahead Do That And Watch Population Shrink" followed by "Told You, Dammit". I have a big tranche of DMs from the CMs. 

That said, I do not think the NA CMs were fans of the switch to Discord; they were notably absent and silent in the Discord thread about the change, and left the other CMs to carry the water for WG. As I posted there, I think that the change was at least in part a rice bowl for someone's hoped-for upward mobility at WG.
