The main reasons are that I had forgotten to consider member verification checks that we may need in the future, and some valid concerns raised by other staff. Essentially, we would have been moving a bit too fast for those forums right now. At this point I will apologize to those who proposed and wished for said forum sections - we may implement them yet, but we will need more staff and infrastructure ready before we do.
