The "journalist" who wrote this needs a metaphorical kick up the aft, and so does the editor who let it through. 

If the title of the article includes the word "battleship", I expect to read about a battleship, not an aircraft carrier.

You don't need to be a Drachinifel-level expert in naval armaments to know the difference.

Perhaps their spell-check auto-corrected "Warship" to "Battleship", or the writing team/editing isn't familiar with the distinctions?  🙂

I was familiar with the distinction before I turned six. One goes boom-boom, the other launches zoom-zoom. 😜 It's not that hard.
