Jingles has a full series of videos regarding this "Game of throws". It happens more often then most would think, the "Must Win Harder" mindset that usually results in enemy team sends in one ship at a time to get killed by the few remaning allied ships and suddenly there si no of them left.

Players getting cocky because they feel like the Win is in the bag.

 

I had a game in Missouri on 2 brothers recently where it looked really grim for my team, my side had suicided and the other side wasent able to do anything. So I decided to go up the middle twice and managed to turn the game around by killing their CV, their sub, 3 cruisers and a BB.

2 Brothers with the middle channel is especially good for turning games around.

Yep.  One reason I never give up even when things are looking bad.

just had a match today.  Think it was 6 vs 5 us.   Just watch all of our team that won our cap C rush into cap B and get cross fired to death.   You can watch it happen,  tell your team mates it's going to happen and they just sail on.  Think they all died (well 5 of them, not me cause i'm super awesome) in under 6 minutes.  don't think one red died.    Brains are not in abundance among video game players.

Happens to both sides eventually. Though I've had an absolutely hilarious match on Two Brothers recently where while in a div with clan members we were on the flank that got rolled early... and the reds decided to shove because they have the numbers advantage! And then a few short minutes later we are knocking on the enemy team's carrier's aft plating with HE. 🤣

Very amusing when the reds decided that it was free to push with a dead rando DD, sub, and cruiser on our flank... and the clan division with a Cossack, Belfast '43, and Amagi were all still quite healthy.
