The video shows how an entire class of British escort destroyers had to be re-manufactured because someone put a "7" instead of a "17" in the calculations and nobody caught it. The destroyers were so top-heavy that they almost capsized in the harbor. In order to make them usable the smokestacks had to be cut in half, several gun turrets removed, and a lot of the superstructure cut away. The wet part deals with bow design on ships like the Gneisenau and how some warships had a tendency to dip their bows so much that they went underwater.

I got the gist of it.
The video creator took their sweet time drawing out the story though.  So I only watched about 5 minutes or so.
