$10US Firepower Containers

Noticed the Firepower containers in the Armory yesterday without a price. There is a price today. Just was a bit of a shock to see they are $10US for one container, lol. Discounted if you buy multiples of course.

I mean, the stuff in these containers are better than normal, and the enticing factor is the 5% chance of getting a tier 10 ship along with the other goodies in the container even if you don't draw a ship, probably makes it worth it to a lot of people. But I have all the available ships available so I would get 3000 RP. Which I don't think is worth $10.

Anyway, good luck to anyone who buys them and draws a ship. Make sure to share it somewhere.

Same, I have all but the CVs. but at $10 per 5% chance isn’t bad at all.

They are all coal ships. So if you want a specific ship it may be better if you use your coal or save up for it. Just my two doubloons.

Another sales gimmick from Wedgie. The MV Wedgie sailed empty from my port long ago & I will never give Wedgie another penny - they could have sold a dedicated clan flag slot long ago (far too late now, ofc).

Well, for me its 10 dollars to a company I dont wanna support any longer, because they pretty much ruin the experience with every update they make, for a gamling RNGesus container with a 5% chance of dropping a ship I have zero interest in. I have enough "fillers"/Meeeh/un-interesting port Queens.

But others will probably consider this a good deal and that's cool.

WG is getting geedier, it seems, every week.

Very happy with the drop of "Hayate" and lots of coal, FXP, credits, etc. I'm always very critical towards WG, but actually I don't feel betrayed.

I have all coal ships so there is no chance of buying this. Also the bundle chain is of no interest.

What I do not understand is that WG actively punishes its best customers who have bought all ships and not give decent rewards. The compensation are so bad so they are almost at disgusting levels i.e. you get more angry more or less if you win the top prize. Let us pretend that you win a ship and you get paid some FReeXP.

If the reward was some substantial amounts of a currency we can not require easily at least be some meaningful number. 3000 RB f.e. or some 10000s of FreeXP (boxes in chained bundles) are way too low.

3000 RB are maybe worth 5 % of another ship or say 200.000 FreeX.P If it was say 10.000 RB i.e. a whole reset that is still 1/6 of Sicilia.

My point is not if WOws lottery is good or bad they are obviusly trying to milk more money as time goes on, but to entice us old customers that have paid a lot during the years and piss them off with poor compensation rules seems odd. Why discriminating the best customers? That will only lower their income.

I think those ships have a 'special' ship status, so they aren't in the tech tree. Many of the veteran players probably have acquired these previously, also when some of them were still tech tree ships.

Im a bit on the fence about Salem tbh. Sure, Zombie heals are cool and all that but I would probably much rather play Legendary mod Des Moines if I had to pick between the two.

And if I wanted to go for Salem its easy enough to pick up in an guaranteed purchase in Armory with Coal and coupon rather than go down the WeeGee rabbit hole of RNG gambling addiction loot boxes for a 5% chance to get a ship and then what .....another 5% chance of actually getting Salem of those ships available.

I value my money and would much rather give my 10 dollars or probably in this case of RNG lottery my 200 dollars to a gaming company that doesn't tries to shaft me on a regular basis. For example, I recently pre-purchased the PC version of Ghost of Tsushima for 50 dollars and I haven't played that game before on console and it looks freackin Amazing.

I play Salem a lot in Coop for missions. I do not play another game so its money either to Wows or something outside the Gaming world. Märklin releases the F steam engine (Swedish ), so that is going to cost maybe the equvivalent of 750 USD (7500 SEK).  I am slowly getting space for my model railway and to pack up the boxes that has more or less been dormant for 45 years. I have done some short layouts on my kitchen table  a few times to show relatives when they were at appropriate age. But now I am planning a more permanent build. My brothers grandchildren are 4 and 2 and I have set the timetable when the first one reaches 6. Therefor my expenditure on Games will decline anyway.
