BlueNautilus
I just noticed that I got a combat mission to get this commander called "Andrei Teodorescu". Does anyone know who he is? I tried to Google him but couldn't find much relevant info on him... 1

Andrewbassg
Well it seems that he is a Romanian capt. The first in the game, featuring romanian voice over. A completely fictional character, brought to life by a romanian voice actor 🙂.

Well ... it had one in the 1890's https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NMS_Elisabeta And the M class destroyers .... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vifor-class_destroyer .....were classified and used by the Regia Marina as esploratori (scout cruisers) After WW1 ( 1920) two were repurchased by Romania and two went to Spain, tho much later in 1938. When the EU dd's come out "lobbied" hard to get them in the game coz they really were EU....... but alas, Wedgie is Wedgie.( it might had to do with Lesta not liking Ro ships coz the very first Moskva (Leningrad class leader) was sunk in romanian waters ) And finally the frigate Marasesti ... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romanian_frigate_Mărășești ...was originally intended as a light cruiser. But the Romanian Navy did had a proper battleship!! For three full days, that is. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romanian_Naval_Forces#Involvement_in_the_Potemkin_mutiny

"Before the crew disembarked, Matushenko ordered that Potemkin's Kingston valves be opened so she would sink to the bottom." Ofc as a nice international working class gesture towards the hosting nation . So it wasn't in a really usable form....
invicta2012
Regele Ferdinando is the best bet if there were to be a Romanian DD in the game. Solid Tier Vi.

I'm assuming you rather mean this one than the ex-HMS Coventry. https://www.navypedia.org/ships/romania/ro_dd_regele_ferdinand.htm
invicta2012
Sorry, typing on my phone.... yes to Regele Ferdinand. It seems every navy in the world had at least one British DD design in its arsenal during the 30s.

You could look at it in port but not play it.
