Has anyone else noticed Lepanto is actually pretty good?

With the recent Italian BB buffs I decided to give the line another chance. I had pre-buff played and researched up to tier 8 but just wasn't enjoying it anymore. FYI, its still not any better lol. But I kept at it and got Lepanto. Almost done with the grind, and I'm having really good results. Its my best tier 9 BB win rate wise, mid 60% range. I'd still enjoy taking my beloved Rupprecht out instead, but this Italian gets the job done quite nicely.

I actually played the tier 8 Venetto in the escort gamemode a while back. Really enjoyed her, my favourite tier 8 BB,

I kind of like the Italian BBs...but they are different, and not OP by any stretch.

It's like playing Implacable...requires skill to get results.

Dunno. I got 76% over 17 matches in it. I thought it sucks. Kind of like an Alsace with more armor and worse everything else. 

Alsace is good tho. Perhaps a slightly worse Alsace is still good?

I played Lepanto pre-buff and was one of the least enjoyable ships on My WoWS experience.

Yeah I was kinda thinking that too, but then I peaked at my averages and it was top of the list for tier 9 BB's. 2100xp, 66% win rate. I was quite surprised. Seems like that's its thing lol.
