SunkCostFallacy
As of this post I currently have 10441 games in my Salem. I'm not sure if that's embarassing or just weird. Probably both now that I think about it I mention that to support the assertion that I have plenty of experience at aiming the main battery guns in a Salem. I don't know about rigged ... I only play COOP after all and what's the point in rigging a COOP game? But I DO know that for the past twelve plus months, with every single patch I have to adjust how I aim my guns in the Salem. Not a LOT, but enough so that it takes a few games before I'm getting the same accuracy at any given range that I was before the patch. I am not suggesting a cause of this ... just reporting a fact that I have observed. I honestly don't have any opinion as to WHY this is happening ... but with that many games I'm quite comfortable in my ability to assess the consistency of aiming the main battery guns in the Salem.

The targeting resolutions, who is placed on your team & on the other team from the queue, that is all from WG & where rigging from WG is blatantly obvious. It came as a suprise to me, about a year ago, when I realised just how many games I'd been playing in the Salem. The thing is ... I just have an absolute ball in that ship. I enjoy other ships too ... my Agincourt was without a doubt the best drop I ever got from a crate, but for day-in-day-out carnage the Salem never let's me down
Daniel_Allan_Clark
Play casino games, expect casino rigging. It really is that simple. The business model from WG is blatantly casino. Rigging should be expected.
Type_93
Looks like the target was reversing at an angle. You aimed low. The shells hit where you fired, but your target had moved. Not a WG problem, it’s a You aiming problem. 1

Hide contents Hide contents Since WeeGee says there is no bug, well you all know what i think. 1) In your first picture it looks like you are aiming slightly below waterline 2) It's extremely likely that the target was performing a turn while reversing, thus taking your shells on the belt 3) With the true aiming point difficult to discern due to image compression and your minimap opaqueness, it's impossible to tell whether or not you were ACTUALLY aiming where you think you were. 4) Bungo has the worst vertical dispersion out of any T10 BB, so it's possible you got an extremely unlucky salvo roll. A combination of all these factors make such an outcome a very real chance. Edited March 1 by Unlooky

While it looked to you that you were shooting a dead broadside at the target ship you were not. The enemy ship was actually pointed away from you as you can see on the mini map. If you could see your dispersion from a top-down view it would look something like this. Edited March 1 by Snargfargle
