The Battleships are now museums, and are likely to remain that way (as I reckon the situation).
Snargfargle
There is little need for traditional shell-firing battleships anymore when guided missile destroyers, cruisers, and submarines now have an ordinance range of up to a thousand miles with pinpoint accuracy. A Ticonderoga-class cruiser could be docked in the Naval base at Bremerton, Washington and easily hit a building in San Francisco. Â Â
MysticalWar
The Point of Battleships now is just in case all electronics are knocked out due to enemy hacking attempts , If all the missiles cannot be launched from modern warships then shell firing ships are the only option since shells are dumb munition and cannot be hacked or stopped. The USS Iowa carries 1000 16 inch projectiles and 32 tomahawk cruise missiles.

Military electronics are hardened, much more so than the general public knows. Why do you think that it's standard policy to send Air Force One aloft during the threat of a nuclear EMP event?

The USS Iowa carries 1000 16 inch projectiles and 32 tomahawk cruise missiles. The video you cited mentioned the large numbers of drones & missiles being used in a certain war which is currently happening (in Europe). The technology to defeat swarms of incoming drones & missiles is not yet mature, and has some supply/logistics considerations. Also, a Battleship is a large target and isn't immune to warheads of a sufficient size. (Despite what the movie "Battleship" might imply, eh? 😉 ) One of the supply issues (in the middle east, for example) is that warships defending commercial shipping from drones & missiles quickly use-up their available anti-missile ordnance and must replenish their inventory. Even if a warship survives a drone/missile attack and retains the capability to fight, it may receive damage. Enough damage over a prolonged exposure to threats may force the warship to retreat for repairs or may knock-out its ability to defend itself (leaving it vulnerable until it can exit a battle/threat zone or be relieved by a friendly warship able to defend both ships until the wounded ship can escape).  Sometimes people call the situation a "mission kill", because the warship can no longer do the task assigned to her, even if she can limp to port for repairs. The approximately 25 miles of Battleship main-gun range is no longer enough to provide bombardment firepower and keep the ship from being hit by return fire. Even if the range can be extended to 60 miles or even 100 miles using special projectiles, the operational area will need to have the return-fire capability of the opponent(s) somehow suppressed. And, even with anti-submarine missiles, a Battleship is a noisy target which is out-detected/spotted by every Submarine currently in-service (in my estimation). Which is why Carrier task forces include one or more Submarines and several ASW Helicopters to protect the task-force. BB's would need similar protection. As Ryan, the Curator of the Battleship New Jersey Museum & Memorial, points out in some of his youtube videos: re-activating a battleship is expensive. And modernization would add to the expense. It's cheaper to construct an entirely new battleship using modern methods and modern equipment. (Which is the point of this topic, in a way, eh? 🙂 ) I imagine the navies of every nation are considering current events and the problems posed and the possible solutions. Everyone is considering their budgets, too, in my opinion. Only a few nations can afford to even think about building a modern battleship. And they might feel that other options are more cost-effective and more likely to survive the threat environment posed by their intended role.
