The graphics hearken back to the 90's and could be improved considerably but the game itself looks interesting. It reminds me of the Red Baron series I used to play, which required a bit of actual flight sim skill to not crash on take-off and landing if you had all the safeties off.

I'd like to ask my uncle about these types of games but he's long gone. He'd probably say that he survived twenty-four bombing missions over Germany in a B-24 so he'd rather not fly any more in a video game.

Maybe with RTX remix , it's a remastering tool used by AI to make old games look good with realistic lighting and textures and Ray tracing.

Or you could wait for B-17 Flying Fortress The Bloody 100th.  I played the original when it came out.  Just don't think I could go back to those retro graphics.
