When you decide to take it as one.

Australia is a minor player in naval terms, famous for fighting a few specific surface engagements - most of which resulted in complete disaster for the Australians concerned. However, that didn't stop WG giving us an Australian-themed event with an explicitly Australian-themed 19 point commander last year - the highest-point commander ever given out to players on a permanent basis (as opposed to loan captains in Halloween or April Fool's events) - and a desirable freemium ship to go with her.

This year sometime, we will get the Commonwealth tech tree cruiser line, capped off by a T10 that is also explicitly Australian (she's named after a 19th Century Australian colonial coast defence ship).

So we can except the Commonwealth tech tree to become expanded... er... rather substantially.
