I am probably late to the part but i had to talk about this, 21' inches just beats the 510MM guns of the HMS Incomparable and any of the other ship guns yet in the game.  It could be fake so maybe that's why it has not been added to the game, or maybe it's being save for a rainy day like the tenth anniversary.  Or maybe even a line that World of Warships creators won't cross of course that would take tegrity something the game seems unfamiliar with.  What kind of ship do you think it would take to mount this beast what kind of reload and number of guns would it be able to mount an be say a super ship or Tier 10.

Incomparable has 508mm guns.  Shikishima and Satsuma have 510mm guns.

As to this 530mm gun, per the article, even the napkin fantasy H44 was proposed to have 508mm guns.  What would mount this?

It is unclear what purpose there was in developing a piece of this size. Probably, it was created exclusively to carry out experimental activities, also because its use was not envisaged even on the gigantic battleships of the H class . In fact these units, in the latest version of the project, despite having a full load displacement of over 130,000 t and a length of 350 m , would have had to mount 508 cannons.

not even one of the Tillman/Maxum Battleships that toped out at 70K-80K because of Panama canal Restrictions, maybe they could have built a super courageous with four single 21' or two twin turrets.

530mm guns in triple or quad turrets?  That seems far fetched.

WG throw realism out of the window long time ago 😆

530mm won't be able to overmatch 38mm so i doubt it will be any diferent than other big boom sticks.

They haven't put 20" guns in triple or quad turrets, so that is a step further that you're willing to take than they have been willing to take.

if it was going to be mounted on anything, it would be a railway wagon and not a ship.

H class *might* have been able to mount a double turret.  Don't go just by the bore increase from 508 to 530.  As caliber and chamber pressures increase, weight increases geometrically -- not just of the rifles but of all the handling equipment, magazines, turret structure and mounts.

Then there's the problem of accuracy.  Without an improvement in accuracy, fewer rifles means fewer hits. At BB ranges, a salvo has to be lucky to hit another BB.  Decrease the hit rate by a further 33% (triple to double turret) and ... well, 508s are deadly too.

WeeGee *might* go there on a supership, but don't bet on it.  Their "naval engineers" are well aware of the issues.
