Use the oil leakage clean-up as an advertising campaign for Dawn Dishwashing liquid.  🙂
Part of the clean-up effort can involve pumping-out the fuel remaining in Bismarck's compartments and reclaiming it for use with ships on active duty.  🙂

It's a sunken German BB! Although whether it's carrying N@z! gold is anyone's guess. Best you can count on is high-quality steel and the cashbox for the sailors' pay.

It's a cave, and a storage facility of some type.
The photo, possibly color-ized, came from somewhere.  But there's no link to more information about the photo and its real life origin or context.

I think the contents of the cave rather than the cave itself were the point of his comment.

Well if it is a joke, then it is one that I didn't *get*, apparently.

The Nazis actually had a great hoard of gold & I believe most, if not all, of it disappeared at the end of the War.

Which reminds me of a movie, titled "Kelly's Heroes".  https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0065938/
The relevant concept being that gold was a commodity that many were seeking and some knew where to look?
