Northern Nightowl
Hello! I got myself a few days ago the HSF Harekaze II as I am really fond of the base Harekaze (feeling like the ship taught me large aspects of "how to DD"). Using it in Silver Ranked, I'm enjoying it. The ship feels really powerful by virtue of the hydro, at least in Ranked with the reduced fleet sizes in this mode. But I'm still pondering a question: is the recommended module choice on the Wiki really the best? I found myself using her 3 guns quite often, surprisingly often for something that was touted as torpedo boat in the Wiki, I even won a gunfight against an Öland in my last battle (well, he rushed me and my smoke bow-in, but still...) and prevailed against a Cossack before (with assistance by allied BB). The Wiki says that you should take the torpedo tube mod 1 in the third slot. But I'm really tempted by the aiming system mod 1. Are there people who can tell me their experiences and opinions about the merits, pros and cons of Torp tube mod 1 vs. aiming systems mod 1 on the HSF Harekaze II? Regards, Nightowl
UnrepentantSinner
I would probably take Main Battery Modification 2, but then again, i like to do things differently just for the heck of it. Just try out a few combinations, till you find out what suits you best.

GMMF
Torpedo tube mod 1 is for torpedo oriented DDs, like Kagero, if you often use your Harekaze II for cap-fighting and gunboating, taking the aiming system mod is better, since you only have 3 single guns, any accuracy boost will be needed. Verytis
Torp tube mod 1 lowers the incapacitation rate. I use it on most hybrids to protect the tubes.
Yedwy
Tbh her guns are so pathetic in ways of dpm that torp upgrades are the only thing that makes sense IMHO
