Mature games really just "freeze" at a certain age and population.  It's simply too expensive to "explore new content or get back to what they promised at the game start" - it's simply too expensive....  Some get sold, some die and most, like this game will linger for 10 years plus....

Now, can change happen?   Sure.   Will change happen?   Not the way most people think change will happen. 

AI based games, as an example,  will simply take over the market.  As I have said many times before, those demo's I've interacted with simply are........shucks, startling constructs.   Just like KBE has changed complex engineering solutions, AI will change the game market.

Make the game better by getting better.  So many subtleties we miss. 

Zath's Replay Theater will expose all your (game) flaws.  Send in your crappiest performances.  Also your best, because no one's "best" is actually best.

It's not just about flaws... it's also about what's GOOD with every player's games!

I remember all my "best games" I sent in back in the old days, only for Zath to find a gazillion things I had done wrong - which, to be fair, is exactly what I wanted him to do; I just hadn't expected my "best games" to contain quite so many mistakes! 🤣 

I suspect a lot of those games could have been summarized in terms of Yoda: "Much to learn, you still have!"
