LOL World of Tanks did a tier 1 competitive event like clan wars or whatever they have. It was a blast to watch, the commentators were laughing and having fun as were the audience. Heck, if we are wondering what else we "could do", let's take a page from Mechwarrior Online and have a 32 ship "arena" match where everyone spawns on the walls of the arena on the cardinal directions and fight till there is one player standing. Of course, we'd have to find the Voice Actor who was "Duncan Fisher" who narrated the Arena, PVP battle.... It was a lot of fun and the Ocean map with just a few small Islands would be a great place to have a 'HOOT and SHOOT' event! T8 are good for captain grinding (lots of credits/ and elite XP) with its many premiums and historic ships is fun IMO. But I am thinking of a sprint season where each sprint starts progressively at 1 tier higher. Say first 2 weeks at T5, then T6 etc. then you are up to T10 after 6x2 weeks. Or even start at T1 or T3? To do that once would be something? And during that period ranked but only ranked mode count through missions below T5 when there is such sprints (rised with each new sprint and tier). Special flags for those who rank out every tier in bronze/silver and gold? The ultimate ranked player, knows every tier. I see ranked as a random with better infuence, so I play for the 9/12 victories in steel (bronze), might try to rank out once per season or so. Given how popular the game mode was last time, it’s reasonable to assume that the devs don’t want both Ranked and Assymetric Battles pulling players away from the Randoms queue concurrently. Even though I haven’t played WoWs in a month, and am not certain about coming back, I responded and opined that “balloon bollocks mode” should remain out of ranked.
