Frostbow Posted October 31, 2023 Share Posted October 31, 2023 Black Friday arrived early for me when one of the two premium containers I got in exchange for Arctic Tokens came with the Brandenburg B. I am particularly stoked by this because I want Tier VIIIs to expand my Operations fleet. Since I already have the non-Black version of the Brandenburg, it came with a mission that gives 2,500 Doubloons after earning 4,000 Base XP. It was in Defense of Newport that I finished the mission, and it was a personal high in terms of the number of ships destroyed while using a battleship—sixteen (16) ships sunk. But that's not all. Last month, the nerfed 'super' containers gave me 3,000 Doubloons. With the 2,500 Doubloons from the Black Friday mission plus a few earned from previous months' 'daily rewards', I have around 5,750. I decided to get 4,000 Doubloons to be able to meet the full purchase price of the Lüshun (and the last remaining rewards)—making it my cheapest Dockyard ship yet, one that I initially had no plans of getting. 9 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Waiting on the next set of missions to get another crate. I think someone posted that we could get 5 free premium black friday crates via the polar thing. Good luck to all. Brandenburg is a great ship and no problem with 2 of them 🙂 I see the Smolensk B is an auction ship... *sigh*. I have the OG Smolensk from way back when... I think via a Santa Crate because I don't recall the grind it apparently was at first. I'll pass on the auction since I rarely have enough resources to even do the opening bid 🙂 Still working toward that 500 ship fleet... up to 434 with only tier 5+ and premiums from T2-T4 currently in port. Don't have enough port slots yet for the big fleet or to fill in with low TT ships... only 19 open slots for the time being and I'd rather fill up my TT lines to 10's before I go back into slow idle mode for the game. I really hope WG will maintain the same New Year Certificate system like the past year's implementation.
