For what it's worth...

 

The new mission set that started today can be completed in any mode, and we can even use low-tier ships. The missions themselves aren't especially difficult, and the rewards are decent. All one needs to do is turn on the missions, play normally for the next week, and earn some extra swag. Enjoy...

I sailed mine this morning. She's a tough boat at tier 2, and she soaked up quite a bit of potential damage in co-op.

Mikasa is the most OP ship tier for tier...

Battleship hp, with heals...at a tier with only cruisers and DDs.

Use HE all the time and even her inaccurate guns aren't a huge hindrance.

I just sailed my Mikasa and my Sampson in Tier-2 random battles.
It was wonderfully fun.  🙂

Yeah interesting, now they just need to remove the T5+ from daily missions and we are onto something

All that I know for sure is that I did score some hits with the Mikasa's 12-inch guns.  There were several misses, too.
