Shinonome B is also missing. At this point, it’s probably safe to assume the Black Friday chain ships will only ever be available during that year’s event.

Or in the huge, overpriced “fleet” bundle that includes all the ships. WG likes to do that.

No interest.

I did take advantage last year and bought Asashio B since Asashio was no longer available.  But, they now offer nothing I need.

Thanks for sharing the news.  🙂

I notice the Enterprise-B is also not on the list.
(Might be because they haven't created a Black version of the Enterprise, though.)

That said, I do feel there are a number of worthwhile ships that *are* on this year's list.

They have not, and I wouldn’t expect them to.

Until the blatant cash grab that is Smol/Smol B in simultaneous auctions, previously removed ships have so far been off limits for B ships unless they were available as B ships before the original got pulled. The closest “exception” to that was JB B getting announced a couple months after JB was pulled, but that was likely because modeling had started before JB was removed.

Enterprise has been naughty list for a long time, so I wouldn’t expect it to ever become a B ship. And especially not as a carrier. If they do a Smol B again and bring a removed ship back way after removing the original, I’d expect something like Musashi/Kamikaze/Belfast/CG B. Something generally considered super broken and a major carrot for crate sales.

"Right you are, Ken @MidnightPhoenix07 !"

The Black ships haven't included the Missouri and the Musashi, either, if memory serves me.

As you mentioned, some ships are on the "naughty list" and have been removed from the Armory and Premium Shop.

I figure they'd sell like hotcakes, but WOWs doesn't seem to want to provide the opportunity.

A thought occurs to me, though.
What if it could be demonstrated that one or more newer ships are actually able to out-perform the older ships that were removed?

I admit I am.

I have a desire to have a ship for each of my Commanders.

I also collect ships (and Commanders).

And from a purely "staying informed" motivation, I'm interested even if I'm not in a position to buy one (either because I've already welcomed the ship or I'm temporarily short on doubloons).

Well, every one has to have a hobby I guess....  Foreign video games simply aren't something I'd ever seriously invest in.  eek, no....
