Rio de Janeiro Rocks....except when subs are in the game.

I opened about 70 super containers and received 2 Tier 5 ships and the Rio was one of them. I never would have bought it and I was underwhelmed at first but I think I've had more Dev Strikes in 27 battles than any other ship. I like to play BBs in Tier 5 just to delete cruisers and, man, the Rio does that well. 59% victories so far.

Certainly the subs suck the life out of the game and my wining percentage in BBs would be higher without them. I don't understand the logic of having torps outrange airstrike by so much. Subs overall aren't a bad addition but some BBs have almost no chance against them and I'm playing a lot less than I used to because of it. 

 

Note: zero aircraft destroyed.

Yeah the Rio is a strong gun platform, but much like the Agincourt your day can be ruined by a carrier or sub player that knows what they are doing in short order.
