ShasoDan Posted January 5 Posted January 5 So the Star Trek event is over, and I find these three captains lingering in my captain's quarters. It is not possible to assign them to a ship or to dismiss them. What am I missing? Will they disappear with the next update or will they stay there forever? 1
MidnightPhoenix07 Posted January 5 Posted January 5 They will most likely disappear with the new update in a few weeks. 1

They are compatible with ships, if they're still in your Reserve Barracks after the Star Trek collaboration event is over. In my Port I have a few. Commander Sela is compatible with Japanese ships. Commander Gowron is compatible with British ships. Commander Worf is compatible with French ships. Edited to add: https://www.flickeringmyth.com/star-trek-returns-to-world-of-warships-with-new-collaboration-event/ Quote New Star Trek characters making the appearance during this collaboration event include – William Riker for Pan-Asian Tier I cruiser Chengan, Kathryn Janeway for American Tier X cruiser Salem, the Borg Queen for Japanese Tier X battleship Yamato and Worf for the French Tier I cruiser Bougainville. Slap some red shirts on ‘em, and something will happen to them, probably within 60 minutes. 3

The NA Server updated my game version, this morning. I'm surprised you somehow have left-over Commanders which aren't compatible with the ship-lines in your Port. Have you run the "Check & Repair" feature of the game? https://na.wargaming.net/support/en/products/wows/article/19497/

This is the main problem with these Star Trek themed Captains... 1) Wedgie 'arbitrarily assigned' nationalities to these Star Trek Cpts & 2) Wedgie 'should have allowed the player to place' these Captains wherever they wanted to. 😁 1

But, it adds complexity and would require additional programming labor hours and lower the profit margins.

The owner of WG is a BILLIONNAIRE 🤣. The cost in labour hours is immaterial considering how many useless programming hours WG is already wasting. 1

What do I do with the Star Trek captains in my captain's quarters? Isn't that covered by the: "Don't Ask, Don't Tell..." policy??? 1
