Can you move the Enemy Destruction Effects to a different ship whenever you want?

I won an Enemy Destruction Effect in the game. It says once assigned to a ship, it will show a special animation when I blow up an enemy ship. I'm curious if these are locked onto that ship forever or can I move it to any ship I'm playing at the moment? Is there a cost associated with moving it, if that's possible? I been away quite a while and these are something new to me.

I think there is a filter setting for it, look for it under the cogwheel on the carousel. Moving it is not possible, you link it to one ship the same as with a perma camo.

It is forever.  The effect can be turned on/off as noted above but it will be linked to that ship forever.  If you sell the ship, such as when resetting a line, and them buy it back the effect comes with the ship.

Unfortunately, we cannot. Once linked to a ship, it stays with that ship.
