NA Servers down?

All I'm getting is "You have been disconnected from the server. Technical issues found. Please try again or contact player support."

Everything was working fine yesterday around this time. I haven't changed any settings or mods (the few I use through Aslain's).

Hmm, thanks! Is this in the "News" anywhere? I can't find it. The support page shows a green light on the WOWS Server. Like I believe that...

Ticket sent anyway, telling them I jumped through every single hoop to get ahold of them. Even searched the "News" but it brought up nothing. 

Going camping for a few days from tomorrow. Wanted to finish up as much stuff as I could beforehand but you know how it is... WeeGee....

For the prices they try to gouge out of players... this just burns... I've given plenty over the years. Far more than any other game I've ever played. I wish they would have put some of that into their servers and support staff.

"Expect delays", these days... more and more I expect nothing but incompetence and greed out of WG. Yep, that pretty much sums it up for me. Skipped the half price 360 day prem this year. When it runs out, and if my saved credits run out. I'm done. Not just because of today's issue, but all the stuff that's taken place over the last (almost) 15 years with WG. Not to mention, the game just really isn't much fun anymore. For me at least. Feels like a chore.

Back to packing up my camping gear. If they fix it before I go to bed, maybe I'll play. If not, oh well... I've gotten the things I wanted to say off my back in the blurb above! 😄

I couldn't get in twice. When I did get in, it seemed fine then I pressed battle and was bounced out of que, due to technical problems. 

So I'm just going to wait.

Yes, just now I was able to log in to the port. But it took a while... 

I'll give it a bit more before I try to do a battle. Need a shower anyway, since I stink!

That aside... Another "old man yelling at cloud" rant. Why is everything these days a "technical issue"? I mean, if server is down, how about "Server is down, please wait". Or in my case, as a former national level competitive motorcycle racer, "technical issue, rider retired" when it's damned obvious the engine grenaded itself, spitting oil all over the rider's boots and parts of the track (pity the poor guys that come up behind not seeing any flags) and not, "whoa, that thing blew up"?

I'm just getting angry at the world. Maybe this is what becoming 60 in a couple months means. lol

Oh well, corporate lingo. I guess that's the future. Glad I took up camping as my main hobby in my "golden years".

Yeah had issues starting at about 0305 CST. Couldn't get logged into game until 0330. Once in game, could not get into a co-op match. It would dump you from que after 30 seconds and said it was because of technical issues. Tried again with a tier 2 ship and managed a game. Tried to division up with clan mates and they could not invite me so assumed it was just me. Exited game, verified game files, disabled mod station, and it still took several attempts to get into the game. Checked Twitch and the only NA streamer at 0430 was Zath showing a rerun. Checked with EU streamers and they started getting reports of NA problems while I was asking. Went ahead and sent a customer service report.  Guessing it was an unexpected problem because there was nothing about service issues in the News section.

In other words, "we're on holiday staff and somebody overslept and forgot to feed the hamsters".

They have a temporary glitch of a few hours when the geographic region they are designed to serve is mostly in bed, and here you are screaming like your life's work just had a dump taken on it by the entire US Navy after shore leave in Mexico? Come on. 

If this were the fourth, fifth, sixth day of downtime with critical deadlines pending, I could understand this level of frustration. But as a paying customer, my suggestion to you is that if you're like this after just a few hours, you need to take a chill pill.
