Pan_De_Muerte Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 I missed buying Victoria when she was first out. Any of you with the inside scoop know if she's coming back any time? RB points, doubloons, steel, coal? Thankee kindly.
Admiral_Karasu Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 Nobody knows, I think, only WG knows if even them.
MidnightPhoenix07 Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 Eventually maybe, but only WG would know when. It’s currently in the Santa crates as a regular t9, so it’s probably not going to be a limited release ship like some other new ones have been. Since it was sold for doubloons and cash, it’s almost certainly not going to be steel and probably not in the RB either. It might get added for coal, but doubloons/cash only is probably more likely if I had to guess. 1
Pan_De_Muerte Posted December 29, 2024 Author Posted December 29, 2024 Thank you both. I have a new ship coupon, so I may pick up Le Terrible instead of waiting and hoping.
AdmiralThunder Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 @Pan_De_Muerte Victoria is just a Spanish Roma at T9. I have it and there is nothing special about it. If you want it for collector reasons or because of some kind of Spanish Nationalism, get it certainly but be aware it is just Roma at T9 with some tweaked stats to justify it going to T9. Same thing as Veneto too just with HE instead of SAP. They even gave Victoria the ridiculous Italian 4.6km AA range. You can grab Roma for $53 USD vs the $78 USD (minimum) Victoria will surely go for if/when it comes back AND not have to face SuperShips with it. 4
Itwastuesday Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 It's nice and all, but you might as well play another battleship. Iowa, Izumo, Alsace even. Marco Polo perhaps. Victoria essentially has high velocity, high pen accurate guns with the ability to burst at broadsides and hope for the best. For consistency I find something like Bajie just better. The hull is unfortunately trash and facing super battleships with double your HP sucks. It's the satan container boat I've been playing the most because it's kinda intresting. I would give it a recommendation if you have too many boats and want something new. If you just want a solid performer, you can do better. 1

Yeah I should have mentioned it earlier but as I never use it I just forgot. It has one but it isn't very "special". You can activate it for a quick 2 salvo burst but at the cost of -25% damage and then waiting almost a minute for the guns to reload. Not worth it. Also, forgot it has MBRB too which actually is useful. Best use for it might just be after using the funny button to get a more normal reload. So not technically just a tweaked Roma at T9 but honestly that is what it feels like. The funny button is not worth using and MBRB is limited and very situational. Those 2 differences aside it is just Roma at T9. I will take Roma without the 2 perks with much better MM over Victoria with the perks and having to see SuperShips in a Roma hull (nope nope nope).
