Banned Clan Battle Ships

Anyone else getting annoyed with the seemingly same ships being banned every clan battle season?

Nah. The ones that usually get banned are the ones that bugger up the smaller map/team modes.

Nevsky, Petro, and Napoli bans are basically because if they aren't banned you see at least two of them without fail.

Hybrid bans are because its effectively infinite access to radar level spotting via the side door. To say nothing of how much damage something like Hildebrand can do via those bombers to a destroyer or light cruiser in one pass.

Disproportionately so because the whole team is typically one singular division in voice comms, with ships chosen in advance for maximum synergy and all of one united mind.

I thinks that is called a "coordinated and balanced battlespace..." 

And, it is a fragile battlespace no less.... 

Carriers and/or Subs and/or the Meta/OP "enhanced combat power" ships simply would completely ruin the small battlespace.  The "one ship to rule them all" simply would create one sided battles and absolute chaos......  Which, would cause all sorts of Barney level players to quit..... 

So, "let them eat cake"............and, here we are:  with some very stale, bland, old and somewhat greasy cake...

IOW's, Boring is all they can do.....

Well, not in this sense. I meant that if you just got ships of one class for everybody, the intra-class gameplay balance issues won't get to wreck things up which is what usually happens.

What I find really annoying this season is that there's 3 superships per team but they heavily restrict which ones you can take, but there only exist a few and of those not many make sense for CB. And not everybody has every supership anyway. 

What I want is T7 CB, ban a few ships and restrict anything to 1 ship of a kind only. TX is stale.

The ships are balanced primarily around the general concept of 12 v 12 randoms, with at most three people in a single division.

They become UNbalanced when sailed in the context of smaller teams which are:

1) All in the same division, AND

2) All on voice comms with each other in real time, AND

3) All have trained and fought together before, AND

3) All in ships specifically selected to synergize with each other before the battle even starts.

There's a way to test your theory, and that's to have 12 v 12 Clan Battles with ship-type limits as set by the Randoms matchmaker.

War never ends.........and, war often is un fair...  So, why not test that theory !  

I think the answer is that most customers want a sense of "balance".....  However they see that.  The issue is that "balance" infers control and that, simply never works and becomes arcadish and too simple.  Some would say COOP is one and Randoms are the other...  At issue is the RNG of the MM and all of the issues of whom is playing this game and at what "skill level"...

I gave up clan battles because we simply couldn't get our clan mates to "think tactically" nor, to follow orders....  It's a tough road in games such as this one.

Agree on wanting more CB seasons outside of tier X. I’d really like to see a tier IX season.

Good luck finding more than a handful of top clans that can consistently field enough players for a 12 ship team. So many clans I see have 2-3 mercs, and that’s only with teams of 7.
