NEW Tag Armory

So, as of logging in this AM I have a NEW tag for the Armory and when I open it the tag is for the ships section but there is nothing there with a new tag. I have most of them on my main acct but even on my alt acct that I don't there is nothing new. OMG I hate it when we get these tags we can't get rid of. Anyone have a clue what it is for? 

EDIT - I had a thought right after posting and went and checked and that was it. It is a sale on Port Slots under the ship section. Oh thanks be to Jesus. Those tags drive me crazy when I can't get rid of them. Don't mind them being added so we know but it can be a bear trying to see what they are for at times.

I had a "new" icon on the Armory in my port, but didn't even notice it on the ships section until today. Indeed it was those port slots, so I'm glad to report that this cleared my icon in port.

Happily there's also a combat mission chain that gives up to 4 port slots.

The last time this happened was very recent and it was because of the sale on PT. You had to go to the buy Premium Time section (you clicked the + to get to it) where the new was referring to. It was a RPITA! As I said, I don't mind WG using it to let us know something is there but OMG sometimes actually finding said new thing is almost impossible.

And the port slots are the worst to find,  even if you're specifically looking for them.

My suspicion is that WG uses these 'new' flagetts to make us players re-visit certain areas such as the armory as they incrementally make improvements to these areas.  It appeals to the easter-egg hunters.😉

  And in my experience sometime you have to actually click on the item instead of just hover over it to clear the message- seems like symbols or patch or one of those.

Never thought to look at the ports, was clicking on every ship and nothing.
