Something Freaky happening To This Forum Site Anyone Seeing Strange Posts Or Weird Members Names ? Really Bizarre !

Hi all

For me last night was Xmas eve so I was having quite a few drinks till the late hours, I have woken up this morning hopped on line to see what the latest discussions are and what the community is thinking.

I got its weird what I'm seeing main page format is changed, really wired stuff, scroll through forum threads and posts specially the pinned posts that I had to look twice at, I mean I know had quite a few drinks and my eyes bad but this just wild.

Was there a format change overnight for Xmas ? is the team trolling us the holidays ? or have I hacked and its someones idea for a joke ?

Anyone seeing anything strange today or did I miss some memo ?

just went into the game its self seeing the same thing with forum members names " INGAME " freaky !!!!!

You mean this site? All is n0rMaL, far as I can tell. Sometimes page loading may be outa whack, closing the browser and reopening (or Strng + F5, or Aspirin) solves it.

Its just getting worse, just scrolled through the first 6 pages or so of the " General Discussion " forum its just not making sense its got be a  "Hack " on me !!!

Anyway I'd say, as the issue appears to be on your end only, that this is a browser cache issue on your PC.

You can open devstrike.net in another browser, if you have one. The problem should be gone. You can also open devstrike.net in the crappy browser, then hold the "Cntrl" button and press "F5" (while still holding "Cntrl"). This will refresh the page. You may need to do this a couple of times.

Im using ancient computers and programs,it was the best I could do.

Overall it was just a bit of Xmas fun

When I used to scuba dive. I'd see a lot of these. They are called midshipmen. If they weren't six inches long, they'd be the terror of the deep. They are called midshipmen because of the rows of ventral photophores that look like uniform buttons. These help them to blend into the sky and remain unseen when they are swimming above potential predators.

I had  few ideas in mind but I was not certain how to follow through with it, in the end I just went for website technical issues and hope people would actually look close at the threads and posts, also i tried for a long build up to the punch line sometimes it works other times its a fail.

Well tech wise i was using the old paint system which I am a NOOB at, graphics wise its one of better efforts for me personally.

One thing for certain I  "will never become a good stand up comedian "

Agreed you kind of missed on this one.  I caught the weirdness of the member names but I didn't see anything out of the ordinary on the posts other than the poster name changes.  I just assumed whatever you were drinking was having an affect on me, too.  Whew, strong stuff.
