Santa's Gift Containers

So, I got a pleasant surprise in a Santa's gift container I got from the Event Pass.

Opened 2 containers, first some economic bonuses, okay, neat.

Second, the Okhotnik.  Just what type of destroyer did I get, its all guns and torpedoes!!!  I didn't even know you could get ships from these containers!

Oooooh, I luv the Okhotnik when I was playing down tier !  It's a lot of fun and I miss playing at that tier.

I got the usual stuff.  Nothing special and that's, OK.  Free is free.

Commander XP x 20k, a pack of blue credit boosters, and 50 Victor Lima or whatever the increased fire chance signal is from my first three.

Getting tons of signals from my crates. I did score with 30 days of premium time though which is great. I will have enough of that to get me thru the holiday events so it was super helpful. Kind of funny because I was just thinking of buying that 30 day/doubloon package in the Armory for $18 but held off thinking that I may get some from crates. Glad I did.

No need to be disappointed.  The regular gift containers do not have a very high chance of good drops.

Okhotnik is a good ambush predator with a quick torp reload. Stay unspotted, speed boost at an unsuspecting target and unleash ALL the torps. Go dark rinse and repeat. Just. DON'T. Turn. She doesn't turn well.

Flags and bonuses so far.

I picked up the Elli some months ago for reasons:

1. Wanted a Greek ship & it was cheap and available

2. I wanted a maneuverable CL for the then-current T6 Ranked/Bronze.

That thing singlehandedly led me on a monstrous run to R1.

What? I've only played her a few times since picking her up in the Big Kitakami Resource-gasm last year and didn't think all that much of her.

Ooh!  You are in for a real treat.  The Viking longboat is a blast to play!

I just received signals and boosters so far.  Fingers crossed though.  🙂

Nice! However, I hear that Picardie is kind of a mentally impaired uptiered Lyon.  Try it out and let us know if that is your experience as well.
