Collision warning!

Any way to turn up the buzzing sound of island warning without turning up other sounds?  Seriously this thing is near inaudible.

While you can turn the Automatic Collision Avoidance on or off (Keep it off, it is useless and will make you turn into danger.), I do not think you can adjust the volume of the warning.

You may just need to run your global volume at a higher level ...

what is that clicking sound, cant figure it out to turn it off. Maybe turret moving? Like somebody slams a pot, and it happens all the time

I swear some sound are dumb as hell, like clicking when going forward or backwards

I've noticed that some ships propulsion sounds like it needs a serious overhaul to replace the bearings.  The audio settings I have seem to lesson the unimportant noise to a bearable level.  You can use these settings as a gauge to adjust your settings as someplace to start.

The 'ringing' you hear when changing the speeds of the ship, or throwing it into reverse are from the ship's 'Engine Order Telegraph'.

ship's engine order telegraph

Any change in this produced a ringing in the bridge and engine room to bring attention to it, as well as confirming the order.
So while it may be 'annoying' it is in fact 'realism'.

Does it occur toward the end of the guns loading? That would be the gun breech closing. It's especially loud on battleships due to the gun size.

Do you notice it more when driving a ship with torpedoes?

Either that, or the sound that is made when the depth charges/air dropped depth charges are ready to be used.
