I'm sure we all know that the spawn points in COOP can be severely affected by the presence of divisions, especially when those are divisions of the same class of ship or when there are multiple divisions. I've noticed in the past few weeks that the divisions also seem to be affecting the composition of the opposing spawn point. It doesn't happen all the time but on several occasions, with divs in the line up, I've noticed that the red spawn opposite isn't a mirror in terms of ship class of my spawn. Yesterday I was in a game with a 2 man div and I spawned in my cruiser with a DD and eventually it became clear that our opposing reds were a cruiser and a BB. We dealt with them and tried our best to get to some other reds that were alive but failed in that respect. Under normal coop circumstance not a big deal really, but if you got that one overachieving bot opposite you in a marksman mood in a BB then you are toast before you can get in the fight. Also given the far flung spawns imposed on us to 'level' the playing field for subs messing with the class balance isn't really fair to all players, this game is subject to chance in enough areas without introducing another one. I also think WG are assuming that divs in COOP are formed for the same reason as those in PVP modes... they are not, virtually all of them in COOP are friends playing because it's fun to have a shared experience. Div tactics in COOP don't really work, there's not enough pie to share and certainly not enough time to try them, so just allow divs but don't dump them all in the same spawn.

What do you think, and have you seen these mismatched spawns that I'm talking about?

Not quite, I think the reasons that people div in coop are fairly different to those in pvp, and the unmatched spawns are not anything I've noticed before.

We division many nights for Operations and now, ASB's;  and,  we have divisioned in COOP.....two nights ago to get a task done.

We spawned at the A cap and the enemy did what it always does:  goes to B with one or two enemy ships getting shot at from A and turning towards A.

We division in COOP for two things:  spotting damage and Defense ribbons.  Other than that, Ops/ASB's.
