after collecting some anemic bonus rewards for some solo ops runs i made a single run in my fletcher.

1144 base XP   4815 ship XP  just for reference...not a good run 😬

568 FXP (no bonus signal) with the full clan bonus

and the patrol bonus?  80 FXP    this is a 70% bonus???

i am not one to claim i am one of the brighter crayons in the box, can someone explain the math?

Given the information you've provided, I'm a bit sketchy on the math, too.

How did the Credits & XP screen look, with all the modifers expanded?

Edit.  You were in Scenario Operations.... where the rewards are often modified/reduced?

The Clan Patrol bonus applies to the base amount earned. BEFORE other bonuses.

I just did a Co-op battle with the Patrol turned-on.

1.  Go to my Clan page.
2.  Select Patrol
3.  Of the options available, I chose Co-op
4  Played a Co-op battle
5.  Returned to Port and went to my Clan-page.
6  Under the Patrol section of my Clan page, clicked on "Claim" to claim my Patrol rewards.

yes...

as stated before the 568 FXP earned in the match was with no booster for FXP for the purpose of this test - however, that does include the 15% clan bonus.

so base FXP was 'prolly around 483.    in my mind 70% of that is around 337.

wonder what WG is using for their numbers.

The result screen tells you exactly what the number is. Go look at it.

I didn't have the best of battles, but was just trying to understand the Clan Patrol process.

----------------------------------------------------------------
BaseXP = 184
----------------------------------------------------------------

Credits and XP screen results (Premium Account numbers)
Recieved for the battle = 34,245 credits
Modifiers  1,713
Bonus Package (on ship) 5%  = 1,713
Spent = -25,905
Total = 10,053

ShipXP
Received for the battle = 304
Modifiers 320
Bonus Package 50% = 152
Daily win bonus 50% 152
Clan Bonus 5% = 16
Total = 79 FreeXP and 624 ShipXP

Commander XP
Received for the battle = 304
Commander The Mighty Jingles
Earned = 304
Modifiers  350
Bonus Package 50% =152
Daily win bonus  50% = 152
Clan bonus 15% = 46
Total  33 ECXP and 654 CommanderXP

Reward received when claiming in the Clan Patrol section after the battle = 18 FreeXP.
------------------------------------------------------------

I'm still trying to figure-out how this Clan Patrol process works.

The clan Patrol only looks at your free xp base amount.

I'm still learning about this Clan Patrol thing.

I figure that participation can't hurt, because any extra bonus is better than no extra bonus.

So far, I'm a bit underwhelmed, though.  🙂

OK i found my problem(s)   no surprise that i got 'em

1.  on the fletcher there is a bonus baked into the hull i forgot about

2.  the clan bonus is 50% not 15%

3. then there is the boost from premium time as well

so the base FXP is quite low compared to what we see on the end of battle screen, which i knew, but didn't realize just how much

yesterday i forgot to switch patrols when going to asym...no big loss at all.

but as u say, it's better than no bonus.

70%   somehow it sounds so much more grand that it is

but i guess to a new FTP player with no premium time or bonuses it would be quite welcome

SO... the only way to really benefit from this whole thing is to div up

Yeah its incredibly low. Over the past couple days did ~14 randoms games in division with patrol bonus and it barely cleared ~1800 banked bonus FXP.

You will basically get three times as much on average out of running gray boosters compared to what this bonus will pay out. Let alone what you get from stacking premium time and green or better boosters.

Good to know.
