Are newbie tips going through the roof?

Just returned to WOWS and put in Aslain mod. Seeing newbie tips like the flashing notice to use ship regen is....simply irritating. I haven't forgotten how to aim and manage and all. Any way to turn them off?

If these are a feature of Aslain's mod pack, isn't there a way to turn them off there?

Doesn't look there is option to disable that notice. Methinks it's result of fanbase requests? Decided to learn to stop getting irked about it.

Depending on which health mod it is there should be an option to turn it off from flashing.

I doubt that is tied to mods. I don't recall any mod which does that.

What can it be? IIRC, when you start playing on a new account there are some sort of tutorials with a voice over, but I can't think of anything else that is there in the client apart from tool tips, maybe.

I had cause to reinstall recently and the client does, indeed, display a few "helpful" tips such as the ones described. They seem to stop quite quickly though. Definitely not mod related as I never run mods.

With modern AI technology, it shouldn't be too hard to implement, though.

You choose the mods. Read threw the options and remove the heal one if you want.

I run Aslain’s mods, and I get no such notice.

As always with such a problem, uninstall all the mods, and add them back one-by one, until you see which one causes it.
