It should be exactly the same as the last two iterations? And I surely hope it is, I really like it that way. Much prefer having to fight against against numerous lower tier bots than against few superbots as suggested above.

Give it time. Who wants to bet next time it rolls around there will be enemy flagships?

Haven't played this iteration of Asymetrics yet, how are the rewards? Similar, more, or less than operations? Looking to speed-grind some lines with blue boosters if it's worth it.

I'm not sure if they reduced the Base XP a bit, but it is still the same experience—a jolly good extension of Co-op.

That looks interesting. Is it for Tier IX and X only?
I went to co-op with my Shimakaze. That was fun and I did not harm any experienced player by playing like a bot. But all the red ships had been massacred so quickly that I could not get into torpedo range after the first kill. Asymmetric looks as that would not be the problem there.

Just make sure you don’t play Assymetrics with the same assumption of an easy win that characterizes 99% of Coop games. The bots are lower tier, but they are smarter and there are enough of them that if you play too aggressively you will get punished. I expect for at least the next few days to see lots of top-tier secondary battleships YOLO-ing into the caps and being focused down in the first few minutes, setting their team up for a very difficult win.

Uhm... right, well I think I only really would know the first few Doctors, and there I thought that the Master had run out of regenerations and expired at some point.

Thank you for the warning! I do not expect it to be an easy mode. I have allready been able to get myself killed by rushing into a bunch of bots in standard game mode. Since then I try to have a bit of distance. And I was although allready hunted down as the last ship of the green team by three bots from the red team. 
I will therefore try to approach the matter really cautiously.

Bots in Assymetric use hydro and radar too. Seen a few Yolo Emilio, Kleber, Mino and Smolensk wiped out instantly after stopping in smoke infront of a Cleveland or some Russian cruiser. Assym bots also aim much-much better than coop ones, they use their smoke to cover retreat, doing kiting and such.

The Master got lucky or found ways around the regeneration limitations.  If you read the link I provided and scroll-down, you'll find information about Missy's fate and subsequent regeneration after an encounter with her previous regeneration (named the Master).
Doctor Who can be complicated, sometimes, and occasionally clever in good ways.  🙂

  Seems like "Defend the Base" is a good strategy, pick em off as they attack.  I have to admit I have not seen a big difference in the bot quality vs co op.
