Remembering those ships at Pearl Harbor

I thought I'd honor the day by playing the ships that were in the harbor. It hasn't been a good day. (but the battles were awesome)

Have I missed any?

That's the only ship I've ever gotten from a super-container. I've only played it in tier-VI Ranked battles.

Me neither.  It's not in my port and I don't have the doubloons to put it there.

I'm done with the battleships.  Yuck, I have to play Cachalot.  There's a few more ships to play according to @Tricericon list.

I used the festival tokens so I didnt have to play subs Cv's or not to many DDs. I had to play a few but no CVs no subs took them all right off the list.

A nice gesture.  🙂

Because I was still knocking the snowflakes off of my ships, the ones I played today were of Tier-9 or higher.
(Spoiler:  I succeeded harvesting my snowflakes.  I'll need to welcome more ships if I want more snowflakes.)

So, while it was unintentional, all of my "Pearl Harbor" ships got to rest today.
And, for me, that makes my heart feel right about remembering and honoring the events of December 7th., 1941.

Final tally is 11 of 13 ships played where 5 were glorious victories and 6 terrible defeats.  I'm missing the Arizona and Monaghan.  Also, all 11 ships now fly the commemorative flag. o7

I suggest checking your Port.
I think you still have one more ship to play.  😉

Are you suggesting the St. Louis?  I don't think the one in this game was there at the time.

I was gifted the Arizona and I bought the Moneghan so, the 13 ship set is complete.  6 wins, 7 defeats.  Arizona spotted 33k dmg?

edit:  I have completely neglected the IJN presence because I don't want to think about playing carriers.

Speaking of the ships at Pearl Harbor, every one but the Arizona was re-floated, and even the Arizona's guns were removed and re-used. The Utah was sunk while being towed to the scrapyard but it was only a target ship.

The Oklahoma was salvaged in place over the duration of the war. That's it next to the Wisconsin, in what appears to be some sort of ceremony as the deck is full of sailors in dress whites. I don't knew what the event was unless it was Armistice Day as it was 11 Nov. The War was still going on. In fact, Iowa Jima was being shelled that day and Task Force 38 was in the process of sinking a Japanese convoy of 4 destroyers, 1 minesweeper and 5 transports off of the Philippines. The next morning the Tirpitz was sunk. The Oklahoma also sunk on its way to being scrapped after the war.

Edit: The Wisconsin had just finished crew training and was on its way to join Halsey's TF 38, where it was Admiral Hansen's flagship and primarily served as an AA screen for the carriers and an oiler. Reactivated in the late 1980s, the Wisconsin was the last battleship in world history to see combat action

Three of the Arizona's main guns were installed on the Nevada. The remaining two turrets became coastal batteries in Hawaii. One of these batteries likely fired the last main-battery salvo of WWII, as it was reportedly test-fired on September 2, 1945, the day of the surrender.
