Best option for 80 Festive tokens ? 16 x Santa Mega or 80x Normals ?

Im only missing the Johnston T9 in List

Options: 

16 Super Santa MEGA Containers or

80x Normal Santa Normal Containers

16 Megas gets you to the pity drop IIRC.

Mega, without doubt.

Normal - you will get port slot, silver or in most cases - signals.

Absolutely mega.

It has a better ship drop rate to begin with, and you’re guaranteed to get a ship with those 16 because you’ll pass the pity drop counter. Plus the mega generally has better non ship rewards too (unless you want things like post slots, green boosters, or signals).

Johnston was my last missing ship from the list, too, got it from a Mega of course.

Out of 16 megas, I only got one ship (Minegumo). I got one other ship from a regular Santa container (the French T6 CL). It's all a roll of the dice, IMO.

16 megas are guaranteed to drop you a ship, 80 regular ones are not.

Mega of course, I opened like 50 normal containers among my multiple accounts and got no ship yet.

I had 81 tokens, went for the big containers just because they had more of the blue bonuses. Only ship I did get was the Leningrad, but got 180 days of premium and a bunch of blue boosters that I wanted for missions.

One mega has about six times of the regular one.  Ship drop is 12 vs. 2 percent.  Mega costs 5x so it is the better deal.

Same choice, I have no need for green bonuses.
