Do you open every container at once or co you collect them?

As a beginner I am not in need of any additional stuff I might get from the containers certainly not higher tier ships.
So I decided to collect my containers and open them only if I have use for their contens and joyfully watched my containerheap gwoing.

What do you do with your containers?

Open them because you need them dearly?
Open them because there is no better joy then unboxing?
Store them away as I did?
You don't even care about containers?

Thank you for your answer!

I open them as I get them. No specific reason why, I just do.

Nine times out of ten, open as I get them.  I used to open them one at a time, but if I have, for example, 10 crates to open, I open them all at the same time.  With Christmas crates, I witnessed players open them one at a time; for me, I just want to get it over and see what I get.

As I get them, mostly. I do wish the opening special effects were faster, or that there was an option to open all immediately.

I rarely allow my containers to accumulate.
When I get them, I open them.

As I understand the situation, there's no advantage to waiting.
And, it is possible, when WG/WOWs implements an update, the contents of the container might be changed for the worse?

I open them as I get them, but that's because I record the contents.

Usually it's one by one, but when the Battle Pass throws me heaps of signals containers I'll open those all at once and note down the total contents.

You never know when something might be inside that would help you right at that moment.

Do you not have the "Open All" button available to you?  When you open a container?
The button is to the right of the guy polishing the torpedo on the container ship, for me, at least.

Normally, I collect them and open them all up when a SC drops which I normally open right away. Now, however, I've been hoarding SC's and haven't actually been opening them either. No worries, though, I keep an eye on the freeboard and kurisumasu is only 4 weeks away.

If I have lots of signals in stock I wait until I am low and then open so I dont have to use credits for new signals.

You used to be able to collect an infinite amount of crates and people would post hour-long crate-opening videos on YouTube. WG put a stop to that in a patch a few years back. Here is the reason as explained by Ducky_Shot:

It wasn't due to server limitations or anything like that. They had coding problems that were found with Christmas containers last year allowed people to get infinite doubloons (crates were predetermined on what they would drop when you bought them. so if you were missing one ship and multiple crates had ships, the duplicates would give doubloons instead. The ship drop rate was such that you could get more out of them than you put in, but you had to buy them in bulk quantities for it to work). They weren't able to easily/quickly fix that, so they just hard coded 100 crate limit into the game as that was easier.

Yes, I do. I think I suffered an expression malfunction. What I meant was the animation before and after opening a crate. Getting to see it three times a day, I find myself wishing I could open the crates without the fanfare.

I mix a lot. SC when they started to reach near pity drop , I have hoarded, sadly now on 99. Many other crates I open at least monthly or when I find it interesting. Special containers like BF especially Premiums I open one by one.  But I do open all sort by sort. If it is 4 TYL I open those in bulk. 30 More signals in bulk etc.Santas I will open one by one as I put down the results. Likewise I collect data on all Scs date and result.

Are you saying you can choose which containers to open out of an accumulation of containers?

Yes, there is a button when clicking on one of the crates which will say something like "see all crates" and then you see all the different ones and can choose which to open.

Since I always select coal for the daily containers, I accumulate and open them in batches of 100 (or whenever I fat finger and push the "open all" button). Aside from those, I also accumulate Tacticals and open them individually in order to use their premium days when really needed (same caveat as the coal ones, though). I normally open supercontainers and other goodies as they come, but this Black Friday I waited until completing the progression lines before doing so, which reminds me that I haven't posted the content from the extra stages' ones. Will do later when I'm in front of the rig, plus the Distant Voyages containers' haul from La Pampa tokens.

Salute.

P.S.:

Not infinite, but the threshold was at one thousand. A Spanish player did the experiment back in the old EU forum. I told him that, since he was entering uncharted territory, he was a worthy follower of the Plus Ultra motto (which appears in Spain's coat of arms) and should claim the land for the Crown before anyone else.

I guess that limit might be per container type. Because until yesterday I had accumlated 258 containers. I remember having 100 More Flags containers and I can't say whether the number has risen above a hundred.

Have heard with this or the next update they will be opened automatically due to new content

If WG admits to altering the containers, they force auto-opening of the old versions when the the update drops.

Think we had this covered like last week in one of WoWS Dev Blog where WG mentioned they will be touching on container reward contents in next patch?

Internets Premium, Royal Navy, and Royal Navy Premium containers changes

With the start of Update 13.11, Internets Premium, Royal Navy, and Royal Navy Premium containers will be automatically opened for all players who have them on their accounts. Starting with Update 14.0, these containers will receive content changes, so this way players will obtain the current items from the containers before any changes apply.

They may have either patched out the exploit and loosened up the restriction or it might be that certain container sources don't count.

I don't get why anyone wouldn't open them. Whats the point of them sitting there?

Ok, specific people I get. One guy had a free tier whatever crate, but already had every premium ship in that tier. So they are waiting for a new ship. Makes sense.

I prefer to get the disappointment over with as soon as possible.

I open them right away most of the time sometimes the collection or prem time crates might merit to hold off on opening but thats rare

Usually collect them then open them all up when I get a super container.  Makes up for the depressing item I usually get in one of them.
