Weekend Spree, 22-24 November 2024

Well, I have been busy.

I'm going to talk about Thursday briefly, because that's when I finished the Ipiranga grind. The bots suffered for that one.

Friday I went hell for leather on the Udaloi and finished that off as well. The bots suffered even more.

Saturday was Orage's turn, and that was about twice as much XP to get as the other two put together. I went into Randoms and put on the blue boosters for that one. Finished with two wins in a row, which got me over the line and was a nice finish to that grind.

The upshot of this is that all the tech-tree grinds I'd set up to finish by the end of this year have now been swept aside with more than a month to go.

The final long-term goal I have left for this year is to get Auboyneau up to 21 points, and that's just 75,200 Commander XP away. At my normal weeknight rate of play it likely won't be done by the end of the patch, but it will very definitely be done by the end of the month. Today I had to go to work and put in a few hours getting rid of a backlog, so not much WOWS was done. But for that, I'd probably have put on a whole lot of CXP and had him done by Tuesday night. But end of the month is still fine.

Yes, I have a new set of grind ships ready to go. But I'll probably be giving myself a break from that in favour of tying up some loose ends on T10 ships (e.g. carriers) that have modules to grind, replenishing credit stocks and finishing off some lower-tier commanders who are not yet retrained to their ships.

Let's see.  Played Naval Battles.  Played Ops at night.  Got all of the xmas boxes out of storage.  Took out my Hunting rifles and my wild pig rifles for Monday range day.

Will work on the range for an upcoming match as well.  Now, it's Thanksgiving week and there will be very little WoWs.

That is all.

Participated in Naval Battles.

Accomplished the "Battle of Oliwa" and the "La Pampa" missions.
Promoted my Stord '43 Commander in the process.

Made more progress with one of my Star Trek Online characters.  They've complted the "Delta Quadrant" story-arc episodes.
Upon comlpetion of the "Dust to Dust" episode, I chose the Kobali Regenerative Shield as a "reward".

And they're close to completing research to gain Tier-4 ranking within the Terran Task Force category of the in-game Reputation System.
When gained, they'll be able to acquire a Terran Task Force singularity core (Romulan Warbird equivalent of a Warp Core).
The intention is to install the Singularity Core into a Malem class Warbird, named the Aperol Sunrise, and utilize the "set powers" of having three items from the Terran Task Force set (namely the Deflector Dish, Impulse Engine, and Singularity Core).

Mowed our lawn for the last time of this year.
By using our Cub Cadet riding mower, it was a method of sucking-up & bagging the leaves which had fallen onto our yard.
We have a corner of our yard where we dump the grass clippings and leaves from the mowing process.

Next on the agenda is to give my Toro snow-blower an oil-change and some preventive maintenance.
Snow is expected later in the week.

Weekends are too short.  🙂

Had Tennessee sitting around doing nothing, so I decided to take it straight into Ranked, no break-in battles, no co-op. Nothin’.

Filled all the upgrade slots, popped in a standard survivability captain in, and off I went. After two battles (both wins), decided to change up the commander. Looked for and found a 21-pointer who had never been trained for a battleship. Made a hybrid survivability/Brisk captain out of him. Between him and a speed flag, it gets nearly 24 knots.

Rode the combination to 4 wins undefeated, achieving R1 Bronze, for a 6-0 total ranked record.

Compared to you above  four Captains, not as much;

On EU did my 12 NBs to assist my clan to get the NB Win 70 - 34. Likely fought around 15 randoms Fri - Sun, mostly Ws 🙂. On NA, did three randoms, 2Ws & 1L.
