So I finished my BattlePass grind and decided to buy the Accelerated Progress.  Opened my Containers and found a Brisbane B!  Whoa!

Now what am I gonna spend my coal on?  I was going to use my coupon on the normal Brisbane.  ugh, 1st world problems.

No! Anything but a Tesla!

There is a significantly higher chance of getting killed or seriously injured if you are in a Tesla which is involved in a car crash, compared to ALL other cars.

Well, the final choice is up to you.

My situation was similar: completed the main stages for the free pass (first progress line) then decided to get the second line. I did it in a roundabout way, though: got the first line rewards -which added to the count towards the next supercontainer- and opened all but the standard BFs, collected the daily containers -one of them turning into a SC, as expected-, and only then activated the second line, opening all the BF containers after that. One of the premium ones had Iwami B so I discussed what to do (link to initial comment), considered -pretty much in line with the question @MidnightPhoenix07 asked- that I had enough coal and added the normal version to my port.

The only ones I'd really consider are:

Yoshino, Salem, Azuma, Iwami or Z-44

I don't play carriers or subs, but was considering u-4501 just for giggles

Those giggles have gotten much rarer since they nerfed the shotgunning, never mind that three tech-tree cruiser lines also got Underwater Surveillance.

I admit I played a fair bit of U-4501 a year ago, got some 3-3.5k games, got a Solo Warrior...and that boat would often Dev-Strike DDs and CLs. It cost me 100+ karma. Since the changes, I've barely touched it. I'm not complaining, the thing was pretty toxic after all (though maybe not as much as Gato, which I refused to buy), but I thought you should know.

U-4501 is still strong, just have to learn how to adapt to the changes. Personally I missed subs pre nerf so I learned to play them in the current iteration. I can't remember the last time I was spotted by a surface sub surv ship. They are either too far back or you are outside spotting range so can surface for its duration.

They gift you enough doubloons to unlock the battlepass. Date night is quid pro quo time, as agreed between the courting couple.
