Comrade_Friendly Posted November 20, 2024 Posted November 20, 2024 Hi, I've just came back to the game after a break & I'm playing the PA BB's. I read about this unique commander, but I missed the puzzle to unlock him when it was active. Is there a way to unlock him somehow? I can't see him in the armory but maybe I'm missing something. Also, I hate the way they FOMO these things, but that's a topic for another thread lol 4
MidnightPhoenix07 Posted November 20, 2024 Posted November 20, 2024 Right now, no. But eventually the crates (or maybe the duplicate collection tokens) should return to the armory, probably for coal like Sansonetti and Zhenbing. If those collections are any indication, it’ll probably be at least six months after they were initially available, so possibly sometime in the spring or summer. 3
Comrade_Friendly Posted November 20, 2024 Author Posted November 20, 2024 Thanks for checking in. I hope he does come back as I really like the secondary style of these boats, so it would be nice to maximise it. I'd be cool with him being available for a flat fee in the armory. I did the Sansonetti crate grind, but it was soul-less and I hated it. Much nicer to save up the coal & then just splurge it all at once.
Zaydin Posted November 20, 2024 Posted November 20, 2024 Honeslty, I put him on the San Martin over the Libertad. You can reliably proc both of his unique talents on it compared to the Libertad. The Libertads secondaries have a long range but to the best of my knowledge their accuracy isn't enhanced to the degree that something like the Schliffen or the like are.

The Pan American tech tree BBs use the exact same secondary dispersion as Schlieffen and Ohio. Libertad’s secondary shells are just floatier than Schlieffen’s (and a bit more than Ohio’s too). 1
Itwastuesday Posted November 20, 2024 Posted November 20, 2024 He wasn't just FOMO but also cost something. Coal? Fortunately for me I already discovered that I don't care about these boats at all.

When exactly, I am not sure, but I was assured that it would happen at some point. I have him on my NA account, but he was one puzzle piece short on my EU account, so the future crate release is very important to me. 4

Regardless, I standby my opinion that it's easier to proc both of Lisboas talents on the San Martin over the Libertad. Edited November 21, 2024 by Zaydin

They make up for it by doing huge damage numbers with those hits.
