That happens if you enter too many codes in too short a time. Or just make attempts, it also counts all the expired code attempts as well.

@VedranSeawolf359 Hi mate! During one of the official NA steams, a code was released that I promptly copy/paste entered. I got an invalid code message. I tried it again, same message. Then I typed it in. Same message. Some minutes later, maybe 5?, I pasted it in again because many people in the chat reported the same problems and someone said it worked for them. Then I got the same message you did (too many attempts). After half an hour, a renewed attempt still said "too many attempts". I had a different code, from a stream with @Lord_Zath, that I hadn't used yet, so I entered that one and it worked. Then I typed in the first code again, and it worked.

Is it voodoo? Probably the extra code was irrelevant at the end, but anyway that's how my code finally worked. Still, I heard there's a timer that should reset after 5 min, but sometimes if a lot of people are spamming in the code, it doesn't. In my case, with a 30min break in between, it still didn't work. So maybe you can try as I did: wait like up to 35 min, (then use a different code for the voodoo effect if you want to), then add the one that didn't work.

Of course, in the official streams, sometimes the codes are only valid for an hour, so keep track of the time.

And, additionally, with this type of codes I imagine a lot of people will be trying to activate them at the same time.

The other notion that occurred to me, is to refresh the code redemption web-page.
Haven't had the problem, so I haven't intentionally tried that as a solution.
Just food for thought.

I usually use WGC for the codes, though. Don't need to bother with constant logins on the website. Haven't actually even checked if WG has bothered to fix the login link issue on EU yet.
