A bot. Just an obvious bot.

Marvelous!

I'm not sure I, or anyone, could tell apart the bots from the actual players these days. So I can completely understand why WG doesn't ban them. Not many would complain about it to them.

Do anyone need to understand further what a shitshow this game is these days and why WG needs to release the next OP/Unbalanced ship/class after the next OP/Unbalanced ship/class (Pan Americans where AI kill most of you're enemies for example .... "Just Push W").

NO ONE can actually see any difference between these kinds of bots or just regular T10/Ranked Gold players these days and this is EXACTLY what WG has designed this game to be today. It caters to the lowest of the low and im not surprised that some seem to use bot programs to "grind this game" instead of actually wasting their own time playing it. Only thing un-knowned to me is to what purpose they are doing it?! The ONLY thing that actually makes sense is that its WG that controls these bots to just keep their servers alive (also maybe the reason why they haven't responded to Flamus reports...?).

I really wish a better gaming company would take over this game from WG tomorrow and start to fix this once great game again!

Bots are fkn obvious.

700 battles in a few weeks, 0% hits from main battery, 0 kills by main battery, some by secondaries and ramming. They love the Jap Yamato line.

Start every battle with 'fair winds ....etc'

Endemic on Assia at the moment.

On EU i usually see them in Pommern, they seem to love that ship.

Wishing everyone luck may be a botter thing on Asia but it isn't on NA. I myself do that most games. I absolutely do not bot.

On NA the botter's main ships of use that I see over and over are T9 Premiums Pommern, Schroder, Agir, Jean Bart, and Missouri. Kearsarge a lot from one botter in particular.

As much as I hang crap on Asia server, it's my main server and the gameplay is generally of a better standard than NA. It's a bit more passive and requires patience.

Botting is widely spread on the EU server too. As others already and correctly mentioned before the most important question needs an answer, who is distributing these bots?! Cui bono? The servers aren't direrctly crowded between 8 am and 4 pm ... WG has to provide that P v P can be played, executed. In the morning the EU server is belonging to the Ukrainians and some other guys from Eastern Europe, but only in the morning. When playing against these folks it is often almost impossible to make any significant dmg or even worse to sink ships. Some of them know that they can't be "touched" and are sailing full broadside, not even trying to hide that they are using cheating mods for that purpose. I just had a game where I "delivered" several blows for + 20 K each with my "Tennessee", but only the first time. Afterwards making dmg is almost impossible, and these folks can heal up everything. I know for sure that several CS - tickets have been send regarding the issue, from me too, but no reaction from WG. Why?

@Frostbow Would be good to get a little synopsis there in your OP.

Why don't you start one? Get backers, present a prospectus, and see how you go.

You are soooooo funny !  Uh............oh, never mind.   This game is what it is and it has a binary solution set;  because,  it exists in a very deep, Red Ocean, small niche market.

Which infers, that all of us whom participate in this game "like deep red ocean games ! "   Or, tolerate them for other reasons.....

break

@Frostbow  please, add your thoughts as suggested ^^^ to comment on the attachment - many of us are interested in what you think.

Hey .... it could really just get better if I did. At least I would know there is a problem .... which is the starting point of actually fixing said problem.

If I somehow win the bazillon-dollar lottery and decide to purchase WG/WOWs and begin making my own changes, some people are gonna complain.  😉

Ow....  Yes, we all have our own quirks and odd behaviors....  Heck, half of this forum has ignored what I say (cancelled is a better word...)

But, taking a whack at him personally is a bit over the top.  Just my opinion....

And, please consider that some of us come from careers that are "data driven" and often, so obtuse, that the data simply drives response....or, need for more information.  Gosh, I'd like to know more about what "you think";  because, I've had matches today which where............well, I just don't know some days.   Many of us rely on "other views" to support or reject what we think we saw or experienced....

That's all......

That was the appropriate response to Ensign Cthulhu's very condescending reply. We all know his notoriety even before DevStrike existed. He responded in an insulting and condescending way, and I merely returned the favor, with interest, of course.

Get used to making your own conclusions without anyone coloring your thought process. Thanks.

Most likely. They do it, perhaps sparingly, just to keep player numbers up. That, or they just do not care at all to rid the NA and EU servers of bot accounts.

Mates, put the kettle on and have some crumpets too while you are at it.

As for @Frostbow, this issue has popped up previously, and it is in fact an editorial policy that people don't just slap post videos in OP, there needs to be a topic which means a) a descriptive thread heading, and b) explanation and/or brief description of the video, it's contents, why it's being posted, how's it relevant and so on. If you don't want to share your views in OP and rather prefer to keep the discussion open ended for starters, that's okay too, but you have to add a little something there and nost just a video with a couple of words, if only to let people have some information to decide whether they want to have a look at the video. Obviously, there's the other side of this that people should refrain from commenting unless they've actually at least made an effort to watch the video.

Otherwise it keeps me busy doing things I really don't like to do - but must.

The things you see as a problem are not necessarily seen by others as a problem.

When I see the way in which some people complain about things I have always seen as non-issues (carriers, subs, detonations to name just a few), this is the first thing I think of:

Snowflakes Swirl According to Surprisingly Simple Math | Scientific American

The people in Pearl Harbor on 7 December 1941 did not have the luxury of saying "Ban CV", any more than those on the Lusitania could say "Ban subs" or those on the Hood "Remove detonations", with any hope that their screams would be listened to. This is what informs my attitude to complaints on the game.

I'm more of a...

The Charge of the Light Brigade by Alfred Lord Tennyson - Poem Analysis

person.

Bingo.

Some of the survivors, upon their return to their own position, said they were ready to give it another shot. Insanely brave.

@Ensign Cthulhu, why are you so aggressive in your responses?

A bit of politeness and respect for others is called for on your part.

This is not a Reddit/Discord server.
