GREETING CAPTAINS

WG is proud to announce the Empire Of Carthage will be the next nation to join the game, as you know we at WG held a poll in a previous survey with the choice of :

Carthage

The Mississippians

Mayans

Atlantis

The Yautja

The Community overwhelmingly voted for Carthage and so we have been designing the Carthage Battleship line to be released in Patch 14.1 

Carthage was a mighty seafaring nation that fought in many wars against Italy with superb warships and we are pleased to bring them into the game.

 

BATTLESHIPS

The ships are slow but stealthy not as heavily protected as other nations but what they lack in those departments they make up in others as all Carthage Battleships are armed with high speed long range Torpedo armament, heavily augmented with strong secondary weapons for close range combat,also fitted with highly effective AA weapons.

Carthage Naval Base

Yes have some screenshots of the new Base that the community will be able use when patch 14.1 is released we think its the best yet from the design team.

 

 

Carthage Unique Naval Commanders

To celebrate the new Nation we will be giving the community the chance get two unique Admirals for the new nation

 

Adherbal also known as Atarbas

He led the Carthaginian fleet to Drepana in Sicily and inflicted a crushing defeat on the Italian Admiral P. Claudius Pulcher during the naval battle.

His trait skills will be for Main Armament Gun bonus

And Secondary Gun bonus

 

Mago I, also known as Magon

The Daring and Dynamic Admiral, Under Mago, Carthage established itself as the dominant military power in the western Mediterranean creating havoc against Axis Maritime and helped to close the Straits of Gibraltar to Axis shipping.

 

His special trait skills :

A stealth bonus

A torpedo speed and damage bonus

 

The Carthaginian Flag

We are unveiling the Nations Flag today also

  

 

The Sign Of Tanit

The flag has a special War Elephant bonus

WG will be announcing details of this skill in later posts. 

 

Carthage Dry Dockyard

We here are excited for the new 50 stage Carthaginian Dockyard with a TIER IX Battleship The Hannibal.

Details on the Dockyard will follow later.

This ship will be unique and quiet unlike other Battleships from the Carthage line as it is the first ship for implementing close quarter battle on your opponents ship, note the forward platform for disembarking troops.

 

 

 

The Drydock

This fantastic dockyard is the centrepiece for The Carthaginian Naval base and the new nation.

 

 

 

We hope the community is as excited about the Nation as we are and look forward to taking all your credits, Free XP and doubloons as we can from this new money making exercise I mean new nation.
