Wowzery Posted October 30, 2024 Posted October 30, 2024 Looking at the coal ships, is the Anhalt fun in coop? It looks a bit interesting, and for 135k coal. Thoughts? 1
Wolfswetpaws Posted October 30, 2024 Posted October 30, 2024 (edited) I like Yuro's video on the Anhalt. I think I will get the Anhalt, in exchange for coal. Perhaps I will use a coupon? The 25 knots of speed is a bit slow, though. So, I expect to use a lot of Sierra-Mike flags for +5% more speed. Edited October 30, 2024 by Wolfswetpaws 2 1

Decided to do the same, Yuro's videos are always fun to watch and this one was no exception. 2
Taylor3006 Posted October 30, 2024 Posted October 30, 2024 I didn't see a coupon but it was cheap enough and it still leaves me with enough coal to buy any two coal ships should something catch my attention. I don't expect I will use it much at all since I have far better (ie faster) German BBs at that tier. Got her only for the snowflake rewards. I have to admit it was Yuro's video that gave me the push to go ahead and get her. Honestly an HE spamming German BB with torps does have a weird sort of appeal to me for killing bots. 3 1
Wowzery Posted November 1, 2024 Author Posted November 1, 2024 Went ahead and got her. So far a coupe of games in it is fun to play. The torps are a bit strange, but it can rack up main gun hits like crazy. 2
Navpaktos Posted November 4, 2024 Posted November 4, 2024 It is a bit slow, but perfectly serviceable for ops. The torps are more like a funny surprise when you get a hit than something you can rely on, but they're there. It's a loooooong ship, but without a lot of superstructure or freeboard so it doesn't get hit quite as often as you might expect. I have a lot of fun with it in ops - and the unusually good range (for a German BB) is nice for an easy finish to Cherry Blossom. 1
