OldSchoolGaming_Youtube
The "Game of Throws" video series in Mighty Jingles YT channel is one of the more amusing WoW content you can watch and this will probably be its next episode. Video from Flambass YT channel. The move the Karl Johan player does in the end is just one of the many reasons why I question the skill level of the T10 playerbase on the daily. Also, an awesome way to just throw away a totally free "Solo Warrior" achievement. He could have pushed, he could have zigg zagg, he could have turned left, he could have turned right, he could have done a U-turn and ran away (Best option), he could have torped, he could have done SO many things ........ but he decides to park ...... PARK full broadside on towards a Benham smoke .... A DD being famous for being the best torp spammer in the game! Probably one of the best lessons a new player can learn. If you are already winning ... Dont try and "Win Harder"! If you control all the Caps, then DONT push into the enemy´s fleet in their spawn and die, they NEED to push into you're fleet and killboxes and cross fires to be able to win. Yet, the "Game of Throw"-series is ever growing. Edited October 30 by OldSchoolGaming_Youtube

He was still 5:th on the team tho ... in a T9 ..... beating out a lot of T10´s ..... but then again that's not saying much these days where a skilled player in a T5 ship probably could beat a lot of players in T10´s. On another note, dont know how many times Kuznetsov captain has come in clutch to save my azz in Smolly over the years. That OP last extra bonus DCP and heal in the right time. If one don't have him trained on Shitro I would say having him on Smolly is a great choice, but they are not so good to combine with the "free" Alpha damage skill on Smolly. Justin_Simpleton
We could call it a throw but it looked to me like the BB player got caught in the wrong position when several of his teammates died suddenly. He may have changed his mind several times about the best next move and then was left with no option. The team threw the game.

Not to get a free Solo Warrior which is the hardest achievement in the game to get because it has nothing to do with skill, but rather a certain number of circumstances coming together? Same time its hard to argue against it being an intentional throw since he couldn't have made it more easy for the Benham than he did. Just cant see any SANE cause for it, if he for example had a div from his clan on the other side .... maybe, but what clan would like to rob their clanmate from a Solo W?! 53 minutes ago, Justin_Simpleton said: We could call it a throw but it looked to me like the BB player got caught in the wrong position when several of his teammates died suddenly. He may have changed his mind several times about the best next move and then was left with no option. The team threw the game. I dont agree. His teammates started to act agressive which is very common in "Win harder" scenarios. And some of them really acted "donkey-like" like that Yolo-ing DD etc. Cant really blame Flambass because he got killed by a very lucky blind shot into a smoke by a guy from Trenlass clan and he knew at that point that he had some 4-5 other teammates left alive, so good risk/reward. Karl Johan player was left with several options, many of them would pretty much secure the Win/Solo W, because even a Benham struggles at nailing a kiting away BB. So that guy definitely threw the game even tho his teammates didn't help much, which is also common in these scenarios. Its about reading the minimap, having awareness and knowing when disengage and secure the win. Spoiler And again, have very little to do with skill but more happy circumstances and maybe some experience.
Aethervox
All I will say is, War Failing, apparently, has gotten the player base they want, likely the ones who, mindlessly, fork over 💲 on a regular basis. 😒

Gnirf
Player did not get disconnected? (sorry I have not time to watch videos). It has happen to me a few times in the absolute wrong situation, and would probably have looked stupid in game.

As I mentioned yesterday in my Missouri carry game I had a crybaby CV Main in a Essex that refused to do anything sitting 20 km away from the battle because he had actually taken some damage during the game (which apparently shocked him that CVs had to do....), so because of this he wouldn't help us 3-4 last remaning surface ships that was in the fight for our lives in an extremely close full length game. So, he just sat there crying his eyes out that OP CV had to take damage (Only when misplayed btw...) but fortunately the rest of us manage to secure the win even tho the enemy CV was constantly hammering us until the very end. There is a good reason why many CV players get reported. There is also no mystery why the toxicity in this game is at an all-time high. 7 hours ago, Gnirf said: Player did not get disconnected? Didn't look like it because his turrets where moving. It looks like he is waiting for the Benham to leave the safety of his smoke to do a suicide Yolo, but why would he? He sits in a smoke with ultrafast reloading torps and a BB park stationary full broadside on 5-6 km away from his smoke.

Wasn't it a famous ancient Greek playwright (Sophocles?) who combined the two forms of theatre 'comedy & tragedy' as being the two faces of the same coin?
