mashed68
In the past, early releases allowed you get to get ships early. Cool. This time, you got the 1st ship from the free battle pass. But you get nothing from the early release event. You earn exactly zero coins or whatever currency they assigned this time. What's the point of events you can't participate in? DoW_
I received a free ship, and have played it enough to get the tier 9 the day they go to tech tree.

Yes, but if we eliminated the early release event completely, that would still be the case. The free ship had nothing to do with the release event. DoW_
How would that be the case? A tech tree tier 8 costs many of millions of credits fully upgraded hull and the such.

What's the point of events you can't participate in? the past early releases usually include a full line starting at t5, the event allowed to grind up to the t8 and the t9/10 were usually behind some paywall. WG just cut the middle and went straight to the t8. with some luck we may someday see a full line of pan american dreadnought line starting with Minas Geraes and rivadavia followed by a line of "what if" south american dreadnought race had continued. Tread_Head57
It was an opportunity for WG to offer OP ships for sale. The whales bought the privilege to drive around the ship for a while. Now that early access is ending, look for the line to be nerfed.
Aethervox
What is the point of all the Wedgie early releases? Easiest answer ever = 💲.
Keyman
i got the Ipiranga with bonuspack and the Pack for the Loa Andes, and a camo for free. The Captain Lisboa came with the flakes i think.
Wulf_Ace
to be honest this early access events just ruin the game. most of the time we get for free tier 8 and then you can get to tier 10 very fast, so all under tier 8 is forgotten. not to mention giga amounts of free exp that you can basiclly free research anything

Itwastuesday
All of these ship release events suck anyway. There's barely anything to get by playing the ships - especially the low tier ones some lines used to get - all that exists is some boring gambling stuff. For this new line, I think I'll just fxp them for the satan container and never bother with them again. Shoulda done that with Cassard.
