Information is useless unless you can make good use of it. The Serbs made very good use of the information they got, and deserve the credit for what they managed to do.

In addition, Redl blew his own brains out a year before the war began. There was time to change the plans. 

(TLDR: Redl was Chief of Counter-Intelligence for the Austro-Hungarian Empire, while simultaneously being a spy for Russia. Quis custodes custodiet, indeed.)

To be fair, I view the removal of port slots for other rewards to be a positive development.

It also shouldn’t be any surprise that WG is constantly tweaking the offerings, as they’ll never please everyone and are almost certainly trying to balance finding the desired level of player engagement and variety for novelty.

I also expect a similar “rework” of the “pass” system to occur around Christmas using the information that has been collected, just like how the “Battle Pass” was reworked into the “Event Pass” last year.

I hear he does have or had a street named after him. Besides the Kaiser took the wrong month off without communications of state. WG comms outlets are not there to listen to your input...they are there to allow WG to advertise to you.

Nobody at WG HQ cares to listen to your view on the monetization strategy for the game. That's core belief territory for the leadership of the company. You will never get that changed to something you want.

My advice is to abandon the idea of being listened to for changes...and decide if you want to change how you approach the game.

The 71 year-old King Peter visited the firing line of the front in 1914, and once partially retired in favor of his son, took a few shots Austrian troops on a visit to the front in 1915. 

Earlier, he had refused the resignation of Field Marshal Putnik at the beginning of hostilities. The Austrians had chivalrously repatriated the 67 year-old Putnik to Serbia from Budapest, where he had been under medical treatment at the outbreak of war. Putnik took to the field and led the Serbs to early victories. Later things went badly for the Serbs, primarily due to numbers and eventual attention from the Germans. At the time Putnik was dismissed in 1917, he was quite ill and exhausted.

 A bit OT buuut ......  that had nothing to do with the serbs and everything with Austro-Hungary's own unsolvable problems. The Austro-Hungarian Empire in fact was composed of austrian, hungarian, slovak, chech, croat. sloven, german, italian, romanian, serb  (and other) people, each with its own subdivisions, held together by the will of ONE of them, austrians . We hungarians called them (brother) in laws clearly indicating "family by union" and NOT blood .  And as with ALL such NOT ethnically  homogeneous states, which didn't had their own national identity, such as the Ottoman Empire, Yugoslavia, Russian Federation, ( and more or less) Great Britain and others, was kept together by fiat and not by own volition. Ergo, worse performance militarily, coz no fighting will.

Btw that's kinda true for the US also, with the big caveat, that in the US ethnicity is NOT tied to territory and a national identity had sorta developed in time. But ...... I would be kinda wary to loosen the union (like giving states more power) especially given that a cautionary precedent already exists. But whatevs...

It is their loss in income and our loss in dedication... I can't even remember when I bought "Battle Pass" for 2.500 Doubloons last time around... possibly once last year... 😞
